How long does custom merch take?

The honest answer is that most of the clock runs before production starts. Here is where the time goes.

Most of a timeline is decisions; production is the predictable part.

Before production

The first stretch is the enquiry, the recommendation and the quote. It moves at the speed of the decisions: product, quantity, method and budget.

Then the artwork has to be right, and a sample has to be approved. This is where timelines usually slip, and where they are easiest to protect.

Production and delivery

Most projects take two to four weeks after artwork and sample approval. Complex custom products — cut and sew, unusual materials — may take longer.

International delivery can be arranged and is quoted separately, based on destination and order size.

If the date is tight

Tell us the date at the start rather than at the end. Knowing it changes what we recommend: a method with no setup, a product already in stock, a simpler print.

There is almost always a version of the idea that fits the deadline. It is easier to find it early.

Send us the date you need them by. We will tell you what is realistic, and what would make it faster.
